Great food store. The biggest floral area in a grocery store I have ever seen. I also love their deli area, wing bar and salad/ olive bar.

This store has an excellent pharmacy staff. They made switching medications from previous pharmacy to them stress free. They also had a good amount of Halloween specials. They also have a Global Crwdit Union branch inside the store. I was able to do my banking, get medication I needed, and get grocery items all in one stop!

Good food, fair prices and solid service. Most importantly, the sushi chef was exceptional, honestly making tastier sushi than one can find at most restaurants. I will miss greeting and thanking him for his work (and the rest of the team too) when I would stop by regularly for lunches to take home.

We are Safeway employees from the lower 48 and knew of this affiliate. Nice store but asking to use the potty seems to evoke some attitude from the “customer service “ associates. Too bad. As far as the selection goes, it was impressive considering the remoteness of the great state of Alaska.

Store has a great selection of many items including but not limited to household stuff and groceries I love the produce here the salads are out of this world and the customer service is knowledgeable and professional the store is clean and you can even buy stuff for tourists like Alaska t-shirts and keychains. I love that I can pick up so many items here it is my One stop shop on the way home from work I can buy dinner and dessert all-in-one place so I will be returning to the store again and again.

10/08/23- I stopped by this morning around 10am. The young man making sushi rolls was nice and proud of the food he makes and sells. The older lady in Deli wasn't as nice. She seemed put out. Didn't want to answer my questions so I left her. The specials look good and I'll return to order some Ramen Noodles. The meat dept has a great seafood selection. The store is clean and the staff up front are friendly. Tell grumpy in Deli to lighten up. She could drop your score down.

Carrs food delivery program is the bomb I use it all the time. And they’re savings in their coupons are incredible. You can save a lot of money and have it delivered right to your door always on time and never messing up. It’s amazing.

I went to Safeway last night, the one on Northern Lights to buy snacks and drinks. My daughter and I went into the liquor store first and grabbed some wine. The cashier did not want to sell it to me because I couldn’t prove that the little girl was my daughter. I took out her school ID and he said that wasn’t proof. I asked to speak to someone in charge and he said he was the manager. 🤦‍♀️. I asked him if he knew that we were allowed to enter with our children. He said at the end of the day it’s his decision whether he sells me the alcohol or not. The whole time super rude. So I stopped and left. Went into Safeway the store and asked for a manager. Kellinda came out and helped us. She apologized and took me back over there. She rang me up. I thanked her. She was so nice. I appreciate her so much for the way she handled everything.
